Tournament News
Are you planning to run a KartRider: Drift tournament? We are excited to announce a new Account Rental service that allows eligible tournament managers to rent KartRider: Drift accounts.
Three types of accounts are available to rent for tournament use: Master, Submaster, or Player. Applicants can request the following maximum amounts for each account:
- Master (x1)
- Submaster (x1)
- Player (x16): Limited only for physical in-person events, and only if approved.

RULES
Tournament Eligibility
- A minimum of 8 players must participate in the tournament.
- The tournament reward value must be a minimum of $200 USD (or equivalent).
Tournament Restrictions
- Player activities during the tournament must adhere to Nexon's Terms of Service.
- Tournament dates and details cannot be changed once submitted. In the event of changes, applicants will need to cancel and resubmit the application. Regular lead time requirements will still apply.
- Tournaments cannot be associated with a brand/product/service that promotes alcohol, cigarettes, drugs, or gambling.
- Tournaments cannot have willful or excessive instances of obscenity, violence, or discrimination.
- Tournaments cannot have willful or excessive ties to a political group or political causes.
- Tournaments cannot be harmful to minors, culturally offensive, or otherwise deemed inappropriate by Nexon.
- Rental accounts cannot be used to play any regular match outside of the approved tournament. The applicant is ultimately responsible for the usage of all rental accounts.
- Rental accounts cannot be used in association with any illegal programs, inappropriate Racer names, inappropriate Livery, or any other behavior that violates Nexon's Terms of Service.
- Any violation of the rules of this promotion will result in rental accounts being withdrawn regardless of the remaining rental period and future Account Rental service will be restricted.
Applicant Eligibility
- The applicant must be the individual or organization that is responsible for the tournament.
- The applicant must have an active and eligible KartRider: Drift account. No current ban or other restrictions on the applicant's Nexon account are allowed.
- Minor accounts are not eligible for this service.
Applicant Restrictions
Applicants will be denied if they are found as violating any of the below conditions:
- The applicant has attempted to circumvent any Nexon Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, or EULA policies.
- The name of the applicant's Nexon Account ID and the Nexon Account ID on the application are different.
- The applicant has behaved in illegal or inappropriate ways in the game including, but not limited to: Using an offensive Racer name, using an offensive Livery, etc.
- The applicant has attempted to circumvent any Nexon Tournament policies.
- The applicant submitted false information on the current or any previous Account Rental application.
- The applicant changed or extended a tournament date within 7 days of the competition without notifying Nexon.
- The applicant's tournament reward is less than the amount that was submitted.
- The applicant's tournament participation (minimum players) is lower than the amount that was submitted.
- The applicant failed to provide any required documents or information.
- The applicant conducted a tournament that was associated with a brand/product/service that promotes alcohol, cigarettes, drugs, or gambling.
- The applicant conducted a tournament that had willful or excessive instances of obscenity, violence, or discrimination.
- The applicant conducted a tournament that had willful or excessive ties to a political group or political causes.
- The applicant conducted a tournament that was harmful to minors, culturally offensive, or otherwise deemed inappropriate by Nexon.
- The applicant used or allowed usage of rental accounts for any match that was not related to a submitted competition.
Application Lead Times
- Applications must be submitted at least 14 days before the start of the tournament.
- The review period may take up to 7 days. Applicants will be informed via email within this period whether their application has been approved.
- If details of the tournament change, you must cancel your application and resubmit if you still wish to rent accounts for a tournament.
- You may cancel your application by sending an email to the Community Team at na_drifttournaments@nexon.com.
- Resubmissions are treated as new submissions and must be sent at least 14 days before the start of the tournament.
- The maximum lead time for applications is 90 days before the start of the tournament.
- The Account Rental service is only available to each qualified applicant once every 3 months.
Required Submission Materials
- The following materials must be submitted as part of your application:
- Account Rental Application (via Google Form)
- Documentation of Tournament. This may include, but is not limited to: A link to the tournament announcement, tournament poster/graphic, tournament proposal, etc.
- Within 14 days following the tournament date, you must also submit:
- Image/Video of Tournament. Accepted materials include: Link(s) to online video or livestream of the tournament, or a video file of the tournament.
- Submitted images or video must not include personal information, including the images and names of the players or broadcasters.
- Failure to provide documentation within 14 days of the tournament will result in your loss of future access to tournament account rentals.
HOW TO APPLY
- If required information is not provided or Documentation of Tournament is not included, the application will be denied.
- Application MUST be submitted at least 14 days before the start of the tournament.
- All applications will be reviewed by the Community Team, and the team will contact you via email if/when your application is accepted.
